The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is predicting “above average” activity for the remainder of the 2023 Atlantic hurricane season.  The U.S. Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board (CSB) is urging the chemical industry to get prepared for a potentially difficult season ahead. We know that heavy wind and storm surges have the potential to cause immense property damage.  When it involves chemical containment systems, it could lead to a disaster.

What can we do to prepare?  Check your company emergency equipment, such as back up emergency generators.  Train your spill team.  Update your overall contingency plan!
