For over 28 years, Jerry Hubbs has served in the public sector with fire and medical emergency response. He has just retired as a career battalion chief with Gloucester City and brings extensive experience to the classroom. Mr. Hubbs is a HAZWOPER instructor and shares his personal stories of actual HAZMAT spill response efforts with which he has participated over the years. His teaching experience also includes the Incident Management, Level 200 course. He is a NJ State Certified Hazardous Materials Technician and provides hands on opportunities with PPE, SCBA, Decon, Drill development and practical training evolutions.
Mr. Hubbs has also served as an EMT, and has extensive experience with confined space rescue and high angle rescue as well.
As a workplace fire safety consultant, Mr. Hubbs draws from his vast experience as a former fire safety code enforcement official. His work with industry, schools and municipalities gives him a unique edge when conducting compliance assessments, saving our clients potentially thousands of dollars in fines.
