Incident Commander 5/6/21

The Incident Commander is the supervisor of the entire incident and requires additional competencies above the Technician Level.  This includes those that deal with planning and management of the incident and additional competencies including analyzing the incident, estimating the potential outcomes, planning the response, identifying potential action options, developing and implementing the plan of action, evaluating the progress, and termination of the incident.  OSHA also requires the IC to know and implement the local and state emergency response plans.  This 8 hour course reviews all competencies.  Certificates are issued upon successful completion.
